At True Promise Foundation (TPF), climate change is not just a global crisis — it's a daily reality for the communities we serve in northeastern Kenya. We are a woman-led, community-rooted NGO that believes climate justice is human justice — and that real solutions must begin at the grassroots. In our region, the changing climate brings more than heatwaves and drought. It steals futures. Crops fail. Water disappears. Families are displaced. And in the shadows of these hardships, harmful practices like child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) increase as survival strategies. But we are not waiting for change — we are creating it.
